Polk-Burnett Electric Cooperative is seeking a SEASONAL, TEMPORARY OPERATIONS HELPER to assist the operations department in all tasks necessary to construct, maintain and operate the electric distribution system. Candidate must have a high school or equivalent diploma and additional education through an electrical power distribution apprentice training program.
The co-op is also seeking a FULL-TIME ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN to design and route system line extensions. Candidate must have a high school or equivalent diploma. Courses in basic electrical theory or staking certification is desired, as well as a minimum of two years’ experience with an electric utility as staking technician or related position.
